{"id":848,"date":"2021-10-08T21:05:24","date_gmt":"2021-10-08T17:05:24","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","slug":"Egg-Roll-in-a-Bowl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/331333.xyz\/index.php\/2021\/10\/08\/Egg-Roll-in-a-Bowl\/","title":{"rendered":"Egg Roll in a Bowl"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n6  (3.5 inch square) wonton wrappers<br \/>\n2 teaspoons vegetable oil<br \/>\n3\u2009\u00bd cups shredded green cabbage<br \/>\n1 cup julienned carrot<br \/>\n\u00bc cup julienned red bell pepper<br \/>\n\u2153 cup thinly sliced green onions<br \/>\n2 cloves garlic, finely minced<br \/>\n2 tablespoons soy sauce<br \/>\n1 tablespoon rice vinegar<br \/>\n1 tablespoon sake<br \/>\n\u00bc teaspoon sesame oil<br \/>\n1 teaspoon white sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon freshly grated ginger<br \/>\n1 pinch cayenne pepper<br \/>\n\u00bc teaspoon white pepper<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ketchup<br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon cornstarch<br \/>\n\u00bd pound ground pork<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<br \/>\nPreheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).<\/p>\n<p>Cut wonton wrappers into 1\/4-inch strips. Transfer cut wonton wrappers to a baking pan and toss with oil. Spread out evenly.<\/p>\n<p>Bake in the preheated oven until browned, about 12 minutes. Let cool and reserve.<\/p>\n<p>Combine cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, green onions, and garlic for the bowl. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sake, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, cayenne, pepper, ketchup, and cornstarch together for sauce in a bowl and reserve.<\/p>\n<p>Add pork to a large skillet set over medium-high heat. Brown the meat well, while breaking up into small crumbles as it cooks, 5 to 7 minutes. Add the vegetable mixture and toss with the meat to combine. Cook, stirring, just until the veggies start to soften, about 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in the sauce and toss everything to combine. Cook and stir until the sauce has coated everything evenly, and the vegetables are cooked to desired doneness, 1 to 2 minutes more.
