{"id":1486,"date":"2022-01-27T01:10:05","date_gmt":"2022-01-26T21:10:05","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2022-01-27T01:10:05","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T21:10:05","slug":"Aussie-Chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/331333.xyz\/index.php\/2022\/01\/27\/Aussie-Chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Aussie Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves &#8211; pounded to 1\/2 inch thickness<br \/>\n2 teaspoons seasoning salt<br \/>\n6 slices bacon, cut in half<br \/>\n\u00bd cup prepared yellow mustard<br \/>\n\u00bd cup honey<br \/>\n\u00bc cup light corn syrup<br \/>\n\u00bc cup mayonnaise<br \/>\n1 tablespoon dried onion flakes<br \/>\n1 tablespoon vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms<br \/>\n2 cups shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese<br \/>\n2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<br \/>\nRub the chicken breasts with the seasoning salt, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until crisp. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In a medium bowl, combine the mustard, honey, corn syrup, mayonnaise and dried onion flakes. Remove half of sauce, cover and refrigerate to serve later.<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the breasts in the skillet and saute for 3 to 5 minutes per side, or until browned. Remove from skillet and place the breasts into a 9&#215;13 inch baking dish. Apply the honey mustard sauce to each breast, then layer each breast with mushrooms and bacon. Sprinkle top with shredded cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and chicken juices run clear.
