{"id":1375,"date":"2021-12-22T00:17:56","date_gmt":"2021-12-21T20:17:56","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2021-12-22T00:17:56","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T20:17:56","slug":"Breakfast-Strata","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/331333.xyz\/index.php\/2021\/12\/22\/Breakfast-Strata\/","title":{"rendered":"Breakfast Strata"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n1 pound sausage, casings removed<br \/>\n2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms<br \/>\n8 eggs, beaten<br \/>\n10 cups cubed, day-old bread<br \/>\n3 cups whole milk<br \/>\n2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese<br \/>\n1\u2009\u00bd cups cubed Black Forest ham<br \/>\n1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained<br \/>\n2 tablespoons all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 tablespoons mustard powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n2 teaspoons butter, melted<br \/>\n2 teaspoons dried basil<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<br \/>\nGenerously grease a 9&#215;13-inch casserole dish.<\/p>\n<p>Heat a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir sausage until crumbly and completely browned, about 10 minutes. Transfer cooked sausage to the prepared casserole dish.<\/p>\n<p>Cook and stir mushrooms in the same skillet over medium heat until liquid has been released and mushrooms are lightly browned, 5 to 10 minutes; drain.<\/p>\n<p>Mix mushrooms, eggs, bread, milk, Cheddar cheese, ham, spinach, flour, mustard powder, salt, butter, and basil together in a large bowl; pour over sausage.
