{"id":1134,"date":"2021-11-05T09:05:54","date_gmt":"2021-11-05T05:05:54","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2021-11-05T09:05:54","modified_gmt":"2021-11-05T05:05:54","slug":"Overnight-Blueberry-French-Toast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/331333.xyz\/index.php\/2021\/11\/05\/Overnight-Blueberry-French-Toast\/","title":{"rendered":"Overnight Blueberry French Toast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n12 slices day-old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes<br \/>\n2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes<br \/>\n1 cup fresh blueberries<br \/>\n12 eggs, beaten<br \/>\n2 cups milk<br \/>\n1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n\u2153 cup maple syrup<br \/>\n1 cup white sugar<br \/>\n2 tablespoons cornstarch<br \/>\n1 cup water<br \/>\n1 cup fresh blueberries<br \/>\n1 tablespoon butter<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<br \/>\nLightly grease a 9&#215;13 inch baking dish. Arrange half the bread cubes in the dish, and top with cream cheese cubes. Sprinkle 1 cup blueberries over the cream cheese, and top with remaining bread cubes.<\/p>\n<p>In a large bowl, mix the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and syrup. Pour over the bread cubes. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the bread cube mixture from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before baking. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).<\/p>\n<p>Cover, and bake 30 minutes. Uncover, and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes, until center is firm and surface is lightly browned.<\/p>\n<p>In a medium saucepan, mix the sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to a boil. Stirring constantly, cook 3 to 4 minutes. Mix in the remaining 1 cup blueberries. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes, until the blueberries burst.
