Ingredients:
For the cocktail:
  1 1/4 parts Basil Hayden® Kentucky Straight Bourbon
  1 part apple cordial
  1/2 part freshly squeezed lemon juice
  1/2 part Cynar
  1/2 part Nux Alpina Walnut Liqueur
   Soda water
   Cinnamon stick, for garnish
For the apple cordial:
  1 cupfresh Gala apple juice
  1 cupsugar
Directions:
Combine the Basil Hayden® Kentucky Straight Bourbon, apple cordial, lemon juice, Cynar, and walnut liqueur in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously to combine.
Fine-strain the cocktail into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.
Top off the drink with soda water and garnish with a torched cinnamon stick.
Combine the apple juice and sugar in a medium saucepan set over medium heat. Bring up to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
